Headway Makes Partner Commission Even Better!
We always strive to make your experience better. To increase profitability for our partners, we’ve recently updated the partner commission rules. Read on to learn more about these exciting changes.
How did the partner commission change?
Previously, any commission that amounted to less than 1 cent was not counted towards your total earnings. This often posed a challenge for partners whose clients use cent accounts or trade small volumes, as small trades frequently resulted in commissions below this limit.
Now, however, we introduce a new system that accumulates these smaller commissions throughout the day. At the end of each day, Headway combines all commissions of less than 1 cent earned from one account. If the total commission from an account exceeds 1 cent, it will count towards your overall partner earnings!
New partner commission: Example
Imagine Client A, who trades using a cent account. Naturally, the volume of his trades is small, and so is the commission. He makes four trades in one day, and the commissions are as follows: 0.003 USD, 0.0005 USD, 0.0045 USD, and 0.002 USD.
Per the previous rules, none of these amounts would have been credited to you since they fall below 1 cent. With the new rules, Headway accumulates and adds them up. Since the total exceeds 1 cent, the accumulated commission will now be credited to your overall partner earnings.
